A homemade version of Erewhon Strawberry Probiotic Smoothie but made more blood-sugar friendly. This delicious and gut-healthy smoothie is low in sugar and packs in 40 grams of protein.
With this Strawberry Probiotic Smoothie, you can enjoy the Erewhon smoothie experience right at home for a fraction of the cost. Not only is it budget-friendly, but it’s also healthier. I used both vanilla protein powder nd collagen to pack in a whopping 40 grams of protein per serving! There’s no added sugar or xylitol, which is used in Erewhon’s Strawberry Probiotic Smoothie. They only sweetness comes from the touch of monk fruit in the vanilla protein powder I used. I think this one may be my favorite yet.

collagen nutrition facts
I love adding collagen peptides to recipes (like this Erewhon remake!) because it supports hormonal health and blood sugar regulation. Collagen is a vital protein made up of amino acids such as glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, which are essential for various bodily functions.
Incorporating collagen into your diet can enhance hormonal health by supporting the adrenal glands, which produce hormones involved in stress response and metabolism. Glycine, one of the amino acids in collagen, plays a role in blood sugar regulation by improving insulin sensitivity and stabilizing blood sugar levels. This helps prevent the spikes and crashes that can affect your energy and mood throughout the day.
Collagen powder is also an excellent source of protein, contributing to muscle recovery and helping you feel full and satisfied longer. By adding collagen to this smoothie, you’re not only boosting its protein content but also reaping the extensive health benefits of this incredible nutrient.
