This whipped goat cheese fig toast is made with cranberry walnut bread and topped with honey and chopped walnuts for a warm and sweet breakfast or snack.
Whipped goat cheese just feels fancy. Layer it on some toasted bread with some fresh figs and you have an elevated toast that make romanticizing your morning that much easier. If you haven’t had the combination of goat cheese and fresh figs, you’re in for a treat.
Plus, there are so many ways to enjoy this simple yet elevated combo. Have this whipped goat cheese toast for your morning breakfast, make this into a party appetizer on mini crostini, or you can serve the whipped goat cheese as a dip with toasted bread or crackers. No fresh figs? Chopped dried figs or sliced pears are delicious with the honey whipped goat cheese spread. You can also substitute your favorite bread for a gluten-free version.

Is Goat’s Milk Easier to Digest?
If you have trouble tolerating dairy, you maybe able to tolerate goat’s milk. Goat’s milk can be easier to digest than cow’s milk because it has a lwoer level of the protein called alphaS1-casein land slightly lower lactose content. It’s also higher in short and medium-chain fatty acids than cow milk. These smaller fatty acids are broken down faster by stomach enzymes.
You can find yogurt, milk, soft goat cheese or blocks of goat cheese with flavors like white cheddar, pepper jack, mozzarella, etc. I love using soft goat cheese for making creamy, whipped spreads like the one used for this goat cheese fig toast.
