A rich and creamy dairy-free Peppermint White Hot Chocolate made with cacao butter, dairy-free milk, sweetener and a touch of peppermint extract. This wholesome vegan peppermint hot chocolate recipe is perfect for the holidays.


Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups almond, cashew or dairy-free milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao butter (see notes)
  • 13 teaspoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

For topping (optional):

  • Marshmallows
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Coconut whipped cream or Cocowhip


Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and cook over medium-heat for 2-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately with any toppings of choice.


*Raw cacao butter can typically be found in the baking aisle. Feel free to substitute 1-2 tablespoons of white chocolate chips and omit the maple syrup.
