You love to be silly and the life of the party but there are moments when you like to quietly take it all in. You have a sparkle in your eyes and gentle touch full of compassion. You were born to be my greatest teacher and shine light on areas that need healing and work. You are my first born. The one who changed me completely. I love you dearly little one. Daddy and I love you. You will always be our Charlie Bear — mommy

A REALISTIC DAY FOR GETTING 100+ GRAMS PROTEIN 👇🏼

PRE-WORKOUT SNACK = 10 grams
- banana
- peanut butter (2 tbsp)
- hemp seed mix (1 tbsp)
I have my coffee, Brazil nuts and AG1 here

BREAKFAST = 20 grams
- protein chia pudding (recipe on by page)
- almond butter (1 tbsp)
- blueberries

LUNCH = 40 grams
tuna salad with crackers
- 5oz canned tuna in water
- 1/2 chickpeas
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup chopped bell pepper, celery and cabbage
- squeeze of lemon
- Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper

SNACK = 12 grams
- @chomps
- apple

DINNER = 45 grams
- Caesar salad
- 5 oz buffalo chicken
- sourdough croutons
- @primalkitchen Caesar dressing

TOTAL = 127 grams

*to make this dairy-free swap the Greek yogurt in the tuna salad for mayo, coconut yogurt or hummus. Just reduce about 5 grams protein.

Of all the roles I have being their mom is my favorite — I’m in awe of the beauty and power of mothers. And mothers we all give inside of us. The inner mother who is ever present and being the voice of wisdom, the caring touch and the comfort that you give to others and to yourself.

Let this be a gentle reminder that your postpartum period can be as long as you need it to be. There’s no timeline.

As mother’s we give so much of ourselves, let this be the nudge you need to fully take care of yourself too. You need to prioritize you so you can give fully. This may mean putting aside some “chores” or setting boundaries so you can nourish your body, get outside and get movement and get the support you need (whether it’s supplements, an extra hand, etc).
