If you’re trying to balance your hormones, you have to prioritize blood sugar stability. And one of the easiest ways to do this is with this APPLE CODER VINEGAR HACK.

consuming apple cider vinegar before your meal significantly reduces glucose spikes and elevated blood sugar thanks to the acetic acid.

Acetic acid (vinegar) works by:
— slowing down the breakdown of sugar and starch into glucose
— increases the muscle’s ability uptake glucose as it arrives in our bloodstream
— decreases the amount of insulin released

Do it when it’s easy — try it once a day, before each meal, or just before a high carb meal (even dessert!). See how you feel.

✨ I like making a drink of 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup lemon @drinkspindrift.

✨ Drink with a straw to protect your teeth enamel.

Remember, less blood sugar spikes (stabilize blood sugar) is fundamental for hormone balance.   This hack combined with balanced meals, fiber, regular movement, getting enough less and managing stress levels are all ways to support healthy blood sugar levels and hormones.

EASY ROASTED TOMATO SOUP // for all the girlies trying to balance their hormones, this one’s for you. It’s dairy-free and has a little extra protein and some gut healing benefits thanks to the bone broth.

HORMONE HEALTH TIP: Soup stews, and warming foods are amazing for your late luteal phase and menstrual phase when you need a little bit more warmth and nourishment. They’re also easier on digestion and are a great way to back in a ton of nutrients.

SAVE this recipe. It’s so quick and easy, I know you’ll turn to it again and again.

INGREDIENTS :
1 1/2-2 lbs red tomatoes (roma, heirloom, cherry, etc), quartered
1 sweet yellow onion, quartered
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 head garlic
1 cup fresh basil
4-6 sprigs fresh thyme
1 tsp salt + more to taste
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
1 cup chicken bone broth (more if needed)
1/2 cup full-fat cashew milk (I use @elmhurst1925) or cream of choice

Preheat oven to 400F. Add the tomatoes, onion, and thyme to a pan pan. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

Cut the too off the garlic and nestle into the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Roast for 30-40 minutes until the tomatoes start to pop and blister and the onions are golden.

Once cool enough to handle, push the garlic out of the peel. I used 2-3 cloves but adjust to your liking. Remove the thyme and add the roasted veggies and juices to a blender.

Add in the bone broth and blend until smooth. Pause the blender and add the cashew milk and basil. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed. If you prefer a thinner soup add in more broth.

Serve with fresh cracked pepper and red chili flakes. I often add rotisserie chicken and arugula on top also to make this a balanced meal.

It’s like clearing out a clogged pipe—if your drainage systems aren’t working properly, all the toxins you’re trying to detox end up recirculating, making you feel worse instead of better. 😓

I learned this firsthand, ending up with horrible Herx reactions. This happened with acupuncture, chiropractic appointments and several lymphatic drainage massages.

When it comes to snacks I recommend making them mostly (if not all) out of whole food and prioritizing protein. Aim for about 10+ grams protein per snack.

Protein decreases the hunger hormone ghrelin, reduces food cravings, and prevents post-meal blood sugar spikes. This is the reason you have more energy, think less about food, feel satisfied after eating, improved mood, etc.

Plus, adequate quality protein also supports muscle mass and strength, bone health, hormone health, and immune function.

I know this can get tricky on the go but if you’re committed bring a cool pack or lunch box. You can also lean on packaged / no chill options (I CAN TO ANOTHER POST ON THESE!) — let me know!
